To the others congratulations. Congratulations Cyprus for your amazing best result ever, and Sweden, congratulations for your 3rd medal.

8 participations, 8 finals, 1 win, 4 medals. This edition Denmark has reached once more a medal at the semi-final but in the final it was more complicated to surpass the number 5 and take part of the TOP 5. Denmark must be proud for them 8th top 10 ranking and to be part of biggest part of the voters. South korea send to Denmark the highest mark but it was not enough to Denmark fly till the top 5. 122 points is the biggest number of points ever reached by this country, so very well done Denmark. Congratulations! 

Anyone was waiting for Portugal. Portugal was 7th this time. In an unmistakable style that's anythingt a friend of international radios, juries decided to surrender to the charm of a different song. Emmy Curl with her "Song Of Origin" is other of the surprises of the day. In fact, there're a lot of juries sending high marks to Portugal, just Luxembourg sent their 12 points to this nation, but, in other hand, the biggest part of the countries scored the country. In this way and with 116pts Portugal has the chance to be on TOP 10. 

Number 8 is reserved to Greece. With 116 points, Greece conquer their second best mark ever. So far is Elefhteria Elefhteriou to hold the responsibility to be the better result. Greek delegation send us a happy, fresh and well paced song and juries seem to have enjoyed this huge bet. After a 3rd place at the semi final they were 8th which is not a discrepant difference. Congratulations Greece and your mamacita buena!

It's time for Russia! It's the first valid participation without being disqualified and Russia enter to the Rhythm of great results. "Sem vosmykh"  was 5th at the Semi Final and 9th at the final with 116 points. 116 points is the biggest result ever for this country which proves the quality of the song this edition. There were two countries sending the 12 points to Russia, but once more, juries did not share the same opinion all over the world. Congratulations for your return and this good result! 

Now we're on Top 10. This is coming more and more exciting. On the number 10 we will see Ron Pope, one of the better voices this edition. US Virgin Islands decided to take part of WSC and they did it really well. Such a small country and a giant result. "A Drop In The Ocean" was the favourite of two countries: United States of America and Dominican Republic. Although the high marks, juries did not share the same opinion all over the world. The result was a prestigious place in the top 10 at the first US V. Islands participation with 113 pts. Well Done! Congratulations! 

Our unique African song in the final was 1st in the semi-finals with 110 pts and they finish 11th at the final with 108 pts. Quite a surprise! South Africa was represented by Nádine who sang the song: "This Time I Know Is For Real". The song is beautiful, but in the final, juries all over the world purport they was really undecided with their points. By the way it was just their first participation and they will have time to reach the top 10. Why not next edition? Congratulations South Africa! "I think it's the biggest surprise this day" - said by André Moreira. 

Colombian delegation decided to send Fanny Lu for the second time in a row even this girl was the only one to fail the final since Colombia participates. "Fanfarron" reached the final in 10th place, but the juries of the other semi-final didn't have doubts about the quality of this song and have cast votes to this country. Colombia reached two times more votes in the final than in the semi-final (100pts/56pts) and in this way they finished 12th. Colombian history is really interesting. Three 11th places and two 12th places - It's being difficult to reach the final. Let's see what will happen in the next edition. Congratulations Colombia!

Italy has changed their delegation and they returned this edition to our contest. This is the 5th time they are participating. In the other 4 participations they finished on top 10, but this time they can't do better than a 13th place. Nina Zilli and Giuliano Palma try with an specific type of music to conquer all the world, but 98 pts were not enough to crawl till number 10 or higher than it. In other hand 98 pts is the biggest number of points ever for this country, so Italy done it well in their retun. Congratulations!

97 pts and a 14th place at the final, was the result of Turkish participation. Turkey had reached 4th place at their Semi-Final with 94pts. At the final, juries opinion don't change a lot, just more three points than semi final, which weren't enough to surpass other countries nor reach the top 10. By the way it was a very well done first participation with points for Turkey. Congratulations. "Yatcaz Kalkcaz Yatcaz Kalkcaz Yatcaz Kalkcaz Or-ordayım" - it's impossible to stop sing it - It were the spanish words at the finalists announcement. 

Albanian delegation is one of the most experient in Worldvision Song Contest. Participating since our contest exists and reaching the final in all their participations, Albania looks like they have discovered WSC Secret to conquer "the world". At the semi final they were 10th and just for one point they turn Luxembourg out of the final. At the final the results are different. Juries all over the world liked to hear Jap E Jap for the second time and they have introduced this song in their top 10. 93 points is a "never seen" number for this country altough 15th was not their best mark. Congratulations!

One of the happiest participants this day is United States delegation. For the first time with this new delegation, and for the first time since semi-finals were introduced in out process, United States has the opportunity to meet a new perspective of our contest. Far East Movement (F.E.M) with their song Turn Up The Love, conquer the juries all over the world. At the first semi final they were 7th with 72pts, and in the final they count with more 16 amazing points, 86 pts in the final. Congratulations United States! 

Japan has marked Asian presence at the final of Worldvision Song Contest. With "Gackt" a progressive song with a hard beat at the recap, this country had the opportunity to participate in the final. First participation, fourty countries voting and they have passed to the final. At the final, japanese points were not enough to surpass more countries, but with a respectable number of 81points, we're glad to say congratulations for this mark. Maybe it will be better in next edition. Why not? "

The Sanmarinese song was the only which didn't have to pass through the semifinals. Marco Mengoni represented the host country with a top song at Italian charts but it couldn't make it that good at WSC. Although a respectable 80 points in such a hard ediction and even receiving the douze points which are reasons to not be sad about. Now, San Marino is Pronto a Correre for the next edition, congratulations! 

Mexican entry is "Different". With a "different" song named "different", Mexican delegation done something different than their first participation - they passed to the final for the second time in a row! After Paulina Rubio, it was time to Ximena Sariñana to represent her national flag. "It was good to see something fresh, cool and different at Worldvision Song Contest", said André Moreira, member of the organization. Although it was not their biggest mark, Mexico would be proud to have reached the final. Congratulations for your 72 pts Mexico.

Netherlands has surprised biggest part of the participants by pass to the final. With it, Netherlands conquer a place in the final. This country has a clean history. In all their participations, they have passed to the final, but this is the worst mark they have reached. Last worst place was 12th place (with Joan Franka WSC#5).  In a contest with 40 countries is most difficult to reach good marks everytime, so great work Netherlands and congratulations for your 72 points.

Australia has decided to enter our contest with other delegation. In fact they have surpassed the most difficult - pass to the final reaching it for the second time in country's history. Unfortunately Gabriella Climi can't reach more than the last place in the final, although her 46pts. This is not Australian best place, but it's the biggest number of points ever reached by this country. So congratulations for it Australia. It was to good to hear something "Sweet About You"!!
